i am taking care of my friend's cocker spaniel for 3 weeks. he is a neutered boy, almost 2 years old. i do rotate between different brands and meat source. my goldie and pug used to have weaker stomach when they were on the same food for too long. but right now they built up stronger stomach, i dont need to do a slow switch, they dont have any problems. so it really depends on the dog i think.
