Re: I have a craving.....

Mine is for sushi, and I am getting some tonight! I never understood the craving chocolate thing until recently when I had some really good dark chocolate and I craved it everyday for weeks after that! It just isn't a normal craving for me!

Netbooks

Anyone here have a netbook and want to share your likes/dislikes about it? Any suggestions on brands to check into or stay away from? Anything that is a must have with a netbook that doesn't normally come standard? I am seriously thinking about getting one for my 13 year old SD this year for Xmas. We are looking in the $300 range. She would use it for the internet, writing papers and I would assume storing minimal pictures and music. Am I expecting too much from one or would this be an ideal

Re: Netbooks

There is Acer and also Asus which I know has a long better life. I am at the beginning of my research. I am actually thinking about getting one for hubby too since he now uses my laptop everytime I stand up for a sec, and I expect him to get off of it as soon as I am ready to sit down...my internet time at home is super limited these days, especially since Devin always wants to help typa-write! LOL!

Re: Netbooks

No I didn't! Thanks! I usually let my brother pick my computers out for me b/c he is a computer geek and loves shopping for that stuff. He didn't seem as interested this time though, probably b/c they are all very similiar in what you get and you are limited in options.

Re: Netbooks

Thanks for all the feedback! I know I wouldn't like the netbook for myself as I upgraded my laptop for the bigger screen so I could have 10 key on my laptop keyboard since I work with numbers. But it sounds like for a 13 year old who will be surfing the net and maybe writing some papers for school and playing with her pictures and music, it is probably fine! We don't want to spend a lot. This is sort of her test to see if she can take care of it or not and then eventually we will get her

Re: Babies in the Office
No. I like my OWN children. I don't necessarily like anyone elses, regardless of age. I am not comfortable handling other peoples infants because I did not like people I did not know well, handling mine. I have maybe 2-3 kids at the school I like and would take home with me...the rest? I am glad they have their own parents LOL.
This is totally me. I love admiring other people's kids, but please don't make me hold them! I am glad my hands are

Re: Multi-room baby monitor (janobonano)

I have a multi room video monitor that was around $100, so to get both rooms, you would still be looking at close to $150. I also wondered about another monitor. Most of them have different channels you can put them on so even if you got the same one you have now, you would use each of them on different channels.

Re: Tubal Ligation...

I second looking at Essure. Our OB/GYN client has really great things to say about it. I have looked into it a bit and feel that it may be what we do when I am done having babies. It is less invasive and I think even easier than having a man snipped! lol!
