Misha's going home with me until aDorkable gets back home, but he has an *ahem* issue. He's recently decided that he can't poop on-leash. He had never pooped in the house, so no one has ever yelled at him or chastized him for pooping anywhere. On vacation, he managed to hold it for three days before having the poop scared out of him (outside, by scary strangers), then deciding to poop in the house near where aDorkable's aunt's puppy had peed. Of course, no one saw him poop, so

I walk him on a 25' lunge line (one of mine for the horses), and I always turn around when he goes, or looks as though he is close to going, just so he doesn't get embarassed. ;-) I'm very careful to put him away when I get frustrated... I've worked with horses long enough to know that that particular emotion never gets you anywhere. He usually goes in the woods behind aDorkable's house, but he's been refusing since coming back from my house (probably because at my house we

Misha and I headed to SC: Misha fell asleep in aDorkable's car: Ugh. (Draw) Bridges. Sunset: Michelle got tired of driving, so we let Misha drive the rest of the way. Video of Misha when he first saw the deer on Fripp Island . Hermit crab: aDorkable taking a picture: Here's Misha between Will and Michelle on our golf cart. Misha was afraid of the golf cart... but he got over it. ;) Misha and aDorkable sitting on a tree on the beach. Misha has his dorky face on. There were Terrapin crossing

Haha Scrubs - my feet are always on the dashboard, unless I'm driving or it's very cold (and even then...). :D Once aDork's mom got there and settled in at the kitchen table so she could better dictate what we should do... vacation started going pretty well. :D We left the house to drop aDork off at the airport at 4:30 this morning. She's arrived at the immersion program (though apparently when she got there the van driver, that was supposed to take the group to the camp-thing, locked

Hopefully I'll get a job soon and be able to rent something and offer Misha a more permanent environment. I'm waiting to hear back from one woman I interviewed with that a house comes as part of the pay. My luck, she'll call me over vacation and want me to start that day.

I very strongly believe in ESP, both with animals and people. My terrier knows when someone in our family is coming home - especially me. Fifteen minutes before I come home, he's at the door, or staring at the door - waiting. He'll start getting excited and running to the door about five minutes before I get there. I have absolutely no set time of coming home... whether I arrive at 2am or 5pm, he knows it. My first horse and I had a connection that amazed me more than once. I lived 45 minutes

What do you do when she starts screaming? She might just be trying to get attention. My fiance's niece is like that - terrified of everything - it drives me bonkers (I live out in the country, I don't have time to be scared by ever bug I come across), so I just let her scream about it and go on doing what I would do otherwise... and she gets over it. She loved aDorkable's Misha when she was smaller and he was *slightly* smaller. Then one day I brought him over and she decided he was terrifying
