I like hearing everyone's stories as well :) Sadie - She was our first dog. I had wanted a dog forever, but my mom never let me have one when I was a kid, so I had to wait until I moved out. I would leash him to your DH. We did this with Timmy as we have family with small children that aren't fond of dogs as well. Timmy was always allowed around company and the chaos, just leashed to us as a young puppy. He has always seemed to be aware of small children, he is extra calm around them. He just hangs out and sleeps through most of it. He likes to say hi to the kids, and once they say hi and acknowledge him, he leaves them alone, except to do his "rounds" to make sure everyone

I had a semi successful trip to IKEA. I got a mirror for the guest room, a new colorful throw for the couch, this candle thing - I'm not generally a candle girl, but I liked this one - it's square and had oversized tealights that get inserted in nine holes....I tried to get blinds for the window but couldn't find the size I needed. I made fiance clean the dog run (eww....too bad the outside is "his" job, hehehe) and now he's making dog food.
