wow...

oh dear... I thought the election was over, and the hateful stuff had died down. Apparently, I was mistaken. I thought about putting "no Palin-bashing" on this thread, since I just wanted to share my excitement, but I felt that would be kind of rude of me, you know? Thanks for the "have fun" wishes (and thanks Luvntzus). For all who'd like to know, I got there at 4AM to get a wristband that wasn;t being given out until 10 AM, and I was about the 300th person in line. There

Re: I cannot wait...

...I'm not going to comment on any specific replies, because it's pointless. Just a few things I want to say...1.) I have a few theories as to why a few women (not here) do not like Sarah Palin...and it's not because of her political views. 2.) Here's a couple pics from the line to get wristbands. In front of me: And some of the people behind me (the line snaked around the building, so I couldn't get 'em all)

I cannot wait...

to meet Sarah Palin! She'll be in my town tomorrow. I bought her book tonight and I plan on getting in line around 6am or earlier to meet her. For any Palin supporters, you should check to see if she's coming to your area for her book tour. Yaaaay. Sorry, I'm just extremely excited. I love politics and I think Palin is so much more capable and in touch with real Americans than the media makes her out to be. Anyone else going to read 'Going Rogue' or meet her?

Re: Update on Dublin

I'm so very sorry... Dublin is now pain free and at peace.... *hug* I always loved seeing pictures of him when you'd post them. He was so gorgeous and looked so friendly and curious (I remember he used to like to roll in mudpits, if I am correct).. Those setters just hold onto your heart don't they? You and Dublin will be in my thoughts ...rest in peace sweet boy.

Re: rw-what foods, could you OD on?

For some weird reason I get full very quickly, so I've never made myself sick from eating, but I LOVE puppychow. I only make it when I'm really hungry so I can enjoy more of it hehe. Oh, and Tim Horton's french vanilla cappuccinos and Starbucks signature hot chocolate = heaven. TH is open til 11pm...may have to take a little drive in the next 45 mins!

Re: rw-Lo, it begins...
I am SO not a phone person. I love to text because you don;t have to TALK to anyone LOL. I seriously have almost a phobia about the phone. I have about 5 people I am comfy talking to that way and if it's a "job" like at work when I worked it's no issue but lawd...those acquaintence or distant relation calls, or even casual friend calls KILL ME.
I'm the same exact way. I hate talking on the phone. It feels like a chore. Sometimes, unless

Re: I got my bunny!
I needed an SAE(supervised agriculture experience) for school/FFA, and the closest thing I am able to get to livestock is a rabbit! So, hopefully she took the breeding, and I will have baby holland's in about a month!(Thats the project part),
Your bunny sure is a cutie...but is this your first rabbit? And she's already pregnant? After cats and dogs, rabbits are the most abandoned pets at shelters. In fact, the humane society I used to volunteer

Re: Sex Offenders Should Spend Life in Prison
I live in Texas. We have the death penalty here. I'm all for just lining sex offenders up & euthanizing them. It would save taxpayers money, along with eliminating the problem, permanently.
I completely agree. I do support the death penalty, and my state has it as well. I'm liking the replies so far. I was sure some would jump in and defend the 'rights' of the offenders! Liesje, smart move (showing off those GSDs of yours)!

Sex Offenders Should Spend Life in Prison/Receive Death Penalty

What do you think? I've been thinking more about this lately, and I really believe that sex offenders should have to live in their own communities OR spend life in prison. Edit: or receive the death penalty. I'm not talking about guys convicted of statuatory rape for having consensual sex with a girl that is 1 or 2 years younger than them and under the legal age...I think that is VERY different from rape of an adult or a child. Am I'm talking in cases where there is conclusive evidence
