I told Donna yesterday that when Bubby was sick I even bought her popsicles to try to get SOMETHING in her but Donna was afraid not knowing what might make things worse. Would something like that...with sugar hurt more?
I would think pedialyte popsicles wouldn't have too much sugar and are at least balanced, if she was going to do that. Or, freeze some plain, low sodium broth and try that? I certainly hope Freeway gets better soon! Our old vet didn't think

Amanda, to tell you the truth, I laughed at the thought of hitting a hog. It shouldn't be funny, but I guess since I've never actually seen a hog? I know deer are way scary, and definitely not good for the car. How big are hogs? Glad you and the jeep are OK! I wish wish wish I knew how to cook. My mom never could cook well, so I didn't have anyone to learn from. Where does one inquire about lessons? I totally wish I was better at cooking, sigh. Jackie, hope Twister gets better soon. Sorry
"Itis" means inflammation, not infection. Pancreatitis is inflammation of the pancreas. It is not an infection in and of itself, although as I stated above, it can occur secondary to another intestinal infection. Antibiotics are usually prescribed in order to (1) treat any already existing infection that may have triggered the pancreatitis, and (2) to prevent a secondary infection occurring due to the irritated pancreas.
Ditto. Our trainer had a dog
I am so hopeful that we can go home tomorrow. I'm really missing DH, the kids, & the other three dogs. Our house is chaotic, but I love the chaos.
Fingers, toes, and paws crossed all goes well for you and Brutus!

Yay!!! That's such amazing news Amanda! Way to go Brutus We've been sending good vibes your way and keeping a close eye out for updates the entire time and will continue to do so. So glad he was eating and behaving more normally!

Oh Maghee you certainly have good vibes coming from us! Good vibes are one of those things, the more you give the more you have to give, or something like that ;) Hope all goes well!

Oh, that's such great news! Bru, keep on feelin' good! Good thoughts still coming for you guys

speaking of cows, we got up close and personal this weekend on our zillion mile trip to Illinois to see Robin Williams. There was a truck full parked at a rest stop, and we thought the college kids behind us were moooo'ing. LOL. Word to the wise, 1200 miles in two days, with DH and MIL, leaves one a little worse for the wear on Moanday. Karen, good thoughts to keeping Bugsy calm. Maybe feed him so many cats that he can't move? Amanda, saw in the other thread you have Brutus for a short while

Oh, Amanda, so sorry to hear that. Poor Bru and you and your family. Good thoughts for all of you tomorrow, for good results, and if not, the strength to do the right thing.

Oh, no! I just saw this thread now. Good thoughts for you Brutus, we're all pulling for you. Amanda, good thoughts for you, DH and the kids as well.
