I am good cook, but I do follow a recipe...and I can almost taste it as I read the recipe. All different kinds of cooks in this world! My kids think I'm great, but my daughter does more like what Glenda does. She does work though, and really has to throw things together sometimes. I didn't work when they were growing up. I was talking to my 87 yr Mom this morn...she is another good cook....and she mentioned that she just made a couple loaves of cheese bread, which comes from a very old recipe

I took my son and family to Applebee's...going out is a treat for me now. I had fish and chips...so yummy, and I will turn a blind eye towards it's health values. Not to mention the sampler appetizer... Just a funny, my granddaughter Allie (age 3) does not eat much when we go out or when she comes here for dinner, but take it home, and she finishes it!

Well, I'm disappointed...this is the third weekend of having to cancel a visit from my daughter and family in 6 weeks. The first two times it was the baby who was sick, and now my daughter has that goopy eye thing that everyone here seems to be talking about. She wanted to come anyway, but I called the shots...her Hubby still needs to get it! Maybe I'll see them next Spring sometime...the first year of daycare takes it's toll... Why is it that I can find a shower curtain that I just love
