Those are all great pictures but I agree that the footsie pic is the cutest. I can't believe how big Willa is getting and prettier every day.

Tina - I'm sorry about your foster grandpa and also hope his passing was peaceful. Apparently a lot of people have taken this whole week off because my commute in was a breeze compared to normal. I kind of wish I'd take Mon-Wed off too. It would've given me a 9 day break with only using 3 vacation days. I must remember that next year. After reading about all the breads that Glenda baked and thinking about all the goodies Tina's going to make, I'm really hungry. I think I need

Karen - I'm with Jackie. I'd be screaming and crying. I can't imagine how frustrating that would be. DH has 4 wheel drive, but I've found it to be only moderately useful when it comes to snow or mud. Hopefully someone will be able to get you unstruck soon. Jackie - I'm sorry to hear that Twister's problem has gotten worse. I hope you don't have to wait too long at the vet's office this evening and they can figure out what's going on. I don't have much luck

Oh man, off-leash dogs are at the top of my pet-peeve list too and it's for this very reason. I'm so sorry you and Cairo had to experience this and if you're like me, seeing him hurting and shivering makes it even worse. You were smart to get in to the vet's office though but I think if there's any way you can track down the other owner and get her to pay for the visit, you should. Maybe, just maybe, when it hurts the pocketbook, it'll hit home. Feel better Cairo.
I don't know why but I am having a very hard time waking up in the morning these days. I must not be sleeping well. Its so bad that I nearly fall over when I try to get up. I would sleep till 10 if I could
You and me both. I think it must be because of the time change and the cold, but I'm having a terrible time getting up too. Even now, I could lay down on the floor of my office and take a long nap. Karen - My husband would've asked the exact
There was another mother there with three dirty, loud, mean kids so we didn't stick around too long. She (the mother) kept wiping and picking her nose with her bare hands, then went right back to flipping through the books and videos.
Why do I always stumble on this stuff right after I've eaten lunch? is right!! I'm glad Willa had a good lunch and you weren't locked out of the house for too long.
Honestly, it is intimidating to cook for someone who either a) knows how to cook and nothing anyone else makes ever competes or b) for someone who constantly compares your cooking to a parent's, former spouse's, etc. Believe me, I lived with the control - "this isn't how I'd have done it" or "this isn't how Suzy-Q did it". Fine, you cook or go back to Suzy-Q.
I agree. My BFF is married to someone like that and she's

Maybe I'm just a nervous nellie, but I'd get her to the vet. If all the swelling had gone down, I'd say continue with the benadryl but since it's been 24 hours and she's still swollen, I'd want to have her seen. If that's not possible, I agree with Glenda about upping the benadryl dose and see if that helps more.

Cathy, apparently Candace doesn't share well with others....
Geesh, it's not like she's gonna use 3 purses at a time. Whatever!!
