Re: Shenanigans

Sometimes the houligans get overstimulated and their excitement leads to rough play which can get escalated. Its an issue that I deal with fairly frequently. I kennel the houligans at night...and I have to bungee cord Heidi's kennel shut or she will simply flip open the gate latch. Not a big deal, but Bruder doesn't care too much for being the only one kenneled. LOL In the mornings when its time to open up is one of the times they get overstimulated. I've been trying different things

Re: Monday Monday

Rest in peace Grandpa Green. I too hope that his passing was peaceful. Twister you get better soon. Agnes does not like to be in the spotlight....she says Ma....privacy please! Hope Brutus is getting better daily. On on vacation this week....I always take this week off to prepare for the feast, doing it in daily batches. I didn't feel well over the weekend; I sure hope I'm not trying to come down with anything. VC and ecchinecea morning, noon and night for me. Have a great Monday, everyone

Re: Kord and his issue's.

Don't be silly Dawn....you could never be a bad mom....you are simply trying to figure out what is wrong with your boy. Is he on a Fish Oil supplement? Heidi was itchy for a while; changed her food to grain free and that helped tremendously, but she did still itch a bit; not nearly as bad. But, I was giving Buddy Fish Oil; and decided to just start giving it to the houligans as well. It really helped her a lot...I was amazed at the difference.

Shenanigans

Well, I suppose you can't have Houligans with shenanigans. Right? Yesterday, they decided on their own accord that they needed bones to chew. They (I'm sure it was Heidi) opened up the cabinet where I keep the bones and they helped themselves to the entire bag. Sigh. Yes, I have to keep the cabinet locked; but negligent me didn't lock it; and they took full advantage.

Re: Shenanigans

I know you are right...I've seen them check it out, the lil' buggers. They are fine, no ill effects and full of mustard as usual.

Re: Opinions on Innova EVO

I fed Innova (not Evo) for a while and it was fine, but I felt the Barley in it was giving Heidi the itches. I agree with allergies, the less ingredients, the better. Innova can be a bit rich for the sensitive stomach as well.

Re: SECRET SANTA

I started my SS shopping last week with specific items in mind. My typical Petsmart didn't have two of them...argh! I'm thinking about taking Bruder in a little while to see if the other Petsmart has them. Need more bones anyway. I'm hoping to get my package shipped off this week.

Re: they think Akyra has cancer.

My tears flow as I write. I am truly sorry for your heartbreak. What a beautiful dog with a beautiful spirit. She's still with you; I'd be surprised if you don't feel her around you for a while. Hugs to you.
