Re: The Way Dogs Think Part 2: More on Pack Mentality
So, if you feed your dog raw, are you still supposed to play with your dog's food before you give it to them?? Have you played with raw tripe?? LOL. .
Lol this reminds me of that wolf guy who integrated himself with a pack of wolves at his sanctuary. He insisted on eating all raw, high value cuts of meat only, because he wanted the wolves to smell it on his breath and thus in his mind it would equal he must be high ranking because he was only eating

Re: Early stage of cataracts

I would suggest getting some daily Lutein in your diet. You can get it in a vitamin but as usual the natural source is best. It can be found in such veggies as spinach and kale. Not sure how effective it will be at fighting of the cataracts but it has been found to be a great promoter of a healthy eye. Macular Degeneration runs in my family and it has always been a suggested to use Lutein as a way to help prevent it.

Re: Can you do this with YOUR dog?

That was awesome. I think though it also says something about when a dogs needs are so thoroughly being met. Really why would any of them want to run off when they have 16 of their closest friends to run with and a 'pack leader' who is going to take them to all sorts of fun places along the way.

Re: Weight Loss Help Ideas (mrstjohnson)
I tried doing weights, but it really didn't do anything for me. When I lost all the weight before I was doing purely cardio and it worked great. I can't get jazzed up about weights and I really hate to add more time to my workout - but will try it.
Since you seem to enjoy the pool why not get some weights for it. The pool is a great place to work your muscles since the water adds resistance and best part it is also low impact to easy on the joints

Re: Now Please - Trying to coax a very fearful dog - CoBuHe

Don't really have any advice to add so I'll just send some good dog catching vibes your way. I know it is hard but sometimes I think the best things to do in these situations is to say to yourself, "I'm not going to try and catch this dog today, we are only going to have fun and become friends. Tomorrow then maybe I'll see about catching her." Basically try to take off all the pressure. Dogs are so good at reading us and a sensitive one like this can tell a mile away when
