Re: RE: PTS - for or against?
I understand what you are saying. I just think it is in bad taste and that is how I was brought up. Can't change at this stage of my life.
I don't think it would be in bad to offer an opinion on whatever is being discussed. However, the way that the opinion is given could most definitely be in bad taste. Joyce

Re: When to spay?
Our pups breeders did tell us that if we get the 'chop' too early then they won't mature with their beautiful mane (Belgian Shepherds) We have decided to keep them 'whole' for the time being.
my understanding is that it can be done younger for a small breed because they reach maturity sooner, although six months still is not maturity...i haven't before heard a relationship between spay/neyter and coat.

Re: Request/bugs/fixes

I would like to see the forum that a post resides in when you go to the "posts you have not read" section. If you see the title "timberwolf" it would be nice to know if this is a post about wildlife, food, or someone's dog without having to look at the post.

Re: Request/bugs/fixes

This new format is terrible! * It is very difficult to navigate. You have to go back to the top of the page move to another forum, which makes it slower to move about the forum. * There doesn’t seem to be any order in this forum. Posts seem to be lost in a “sea” of colors & words. * Pop up notifications for pm’s are gone. I hate to seem rude, but I may or may not notice that I have a new pm. Realistically, it may be a day or two before I realize that I’ve got a new pm. * My pm folder only contains

Blockage Symptoms

I'm posting here cause I kind of want a quick answer and with all the forum changes, I didn't know how many people are looking at the health section right now. What are the symptoms of a blockage? Onyx has just turned her nose up at a rec bone, and now that I come to think of it, I didn't see her poop at all today. Albeit, BF put her outside for a bit today and didn't bother to watch her. (I've been keeping a close eye on her ever since her Houdini act the other day) I find it

Re: We're back!

This new format is terrible! While I am sure that dog.com has invested quite a bit of time and money in this new site, it is not nearly as smooth moving as the old forum. * It is very difficult to navigate. Re: RE: Jessie is having surgery tomorrow

Hooray; it worked!!! After several tries, I finally downloaded a new browser to post here. Thanks to everyone for your good wishes. Jessie is fine; she came home about 1:30 yesterday and the drowsiness wore off quickly. She was eager to come with a few hours later when I picked up my daughter. She ate yesterday and kept her food down. She's been antsy today because she hasn't been walked and has to go out to do her business on a leash to make sure she doesn't run; there are always squirrels

Re: RE: allergies

our pup Kujos' sister went to a holistic vet and she has been soo much better, they discovered she was allergic to dust, fleas, their washing powder and 3 different trees on their walks. The poor thing was miserable for a while, but back to her bouncy self now - tho i'm unsure as to what the treatment was!

Re: When to spay?

Everyperson tells you something different - its confusing Our pups breeders did tell us that if we get the 'chop' too early then they won't mature with their beautiful mane (Belgian Shepherds) We have decided to keep them 'whole' for the time being.

Re: Is anyone else having this problem?
Sadly, I have 20/20 vision & no history of migraines.
It did have 20/20 also until about 5 years ago. It seems that my arms are shrinking as I can't seem to hold something far enough away to read it. Anyway with most browsers you can override the color scheme and fonts that any web page displays. See if that helps with the headaches. Btw, I have gone from a 17" monitor to a 19" and now I am using a 22" widescreen.
