- What I want you to know about me
-
Dahlia was dumped somewhere in Ohio, picked up by a high kill shelter and saved by a rescue in Vermont just one day before she was going to be euthanized. I met her on the transport away from the shelter, fell in love with her, and adopted her three weeks later. She's likely somewhere between 3 and 4 years old and is the biggest lovebug I've ever met. She loves getting her belly rubbed...so much so that she does a "pre-walk rollover" and gets a belly rub before we head for a walk. She's also the quietest dog I've ever met. Even a knock at the door doesn't elicit a bark from her. She trusts everyone and is great with adults, children, dogs, and cats.
On April 14, 2009 she received her CGC.
- Where I live
-
Dahlia lives in Syracuse, NY in the downstairs apartment of a two-family home with her humans, Michelle (aka Crysania) and David. She shares her home with 40 typewriters and 7 banjos. Upstairs her two kitty friends (Orion and Layla) live and her "boyfriend" (a dog named Douglas) lives across the street.

She's only just beginning to learn tricks, but she's getting really good at "sit pretty."
