Our beloved oldest child Gabby (also known as Catbreath, Gabbalina, Gab or Squirrel) passed peacefully from this earth on 5/13/2008 around 3:15.  She was 20 years old.  For the past year she had slept atop Donnamarie’s computer monitor, one of the old ones with the heat emanating from the top.  

Catbreath lived for a warm spot.  In the middle of summer she’d be in a sunny window.  In the winter she would be curled up under the wood stove to the point of having singed hair.  

Nobody messed with Catbreath, her howl was very loud and scary.  That’s all she had to defend herself, she has already been declawed when we adopted her at 5 yrs old.  She tolerated a lot, and for a long time she was an only cat.  Then along came a sister Luna, and a brother Beau and another dog sister Nala.  She learned to live with it but never ceased to let us all know she was #1.  

She will always be #1 in my heart.  She was the queen of everything.  She was Catbreath.  Meaoooooooow.
