We took Emma in for her spay this morning. I have been a little worried all day. She was so scared this morning. It broke my heart to leave her all alone, but I know it is for the best.

Keeping our fingers crossed that everything goes well! 

We have been having some behavior issues with Sydney. Nothing serious, but we didn't want things to get serious before we tried to intervene.

We decided to give NILIF a try. Plus we are going to be returning to doing regular training sessions everyday. We completed an obedience class with Amelia and Sydney, but have been slack about continuing the training.

For the first day trying it, things went well. I know everything isn't going to be fixed all of a sudden, but I think we made some really positive progress today.

Hopefully, things will continue getting better. 

I guess since we have this feature now, i will try to make use of it.

Most of you know this, but for those who don't, we (my wife and I) have three dogs.

Amelia, our first, is a boxer mix. We adopted her from Pet Tender Angels, a rescue group in our area. She was about 3 months old or so when we adopted her. She is a very shy and laid back dog. She is content to lay at your feet all day.

Sydney is a husky mix. We adopted him from the Spartanburg Humane Society when he was only 2 months old. He was a tiny little pup, and when he bit my wife's finger, we knew he was our's! He has since grown into a very rambunctious, 85 lb lummox!  He is our retrieving fool! He will chase a ball until your arm aches from throwing it, and still want more! We love him to death.

Emma is a rottweiler. She is only 4 months old now. We brought her home when she was 6 weeks old. She was covered in fleas and bone skinny from malnutrition. After a bout with parvo, she has finally started to turn into a regular rott! She is going to be a bundle of energy too it seems!
