- What I want you to know about me

I'm a 2 year old, liver and white Shih Tzu. I'm one of the sweetest, most gentle dogs you'll ever meet. I'm very passive and laid back, but also playful and entertaining. I'm slightly independent, but also affectionate. I have a regal air about me and I know I'm a little prince. I share a close connection with my mom and we understand each other quite well. I'm very spoiled and very special to her!

I live in a 2 bedroom house with a huge backyard.
- Here's what happened when I first met my family

I was living in a petstore with my littermates when my mom and dad came in. My mom had been wanting a liver and white Shih Tzu, but planned to get one from a breeder- not a petstore! She took one look and fell in love with me. I was so calm and sweet that once she picked me up, she carried me around for at least 30 minutes trying to convince my dad to let her take me home. Finally he said yes and the rest is history!
- Things I like

I love belly rubs, snuggling, napping, making new friends, going for walkies, going "bye bye", treats, stuffed animals, any kind of bone or chewy, chasing birds and leaves, meandering around the backyard.
- Things I don't like

Bathtime, nail trimming, going to the vet, riding in shopping carts and being held by strangers.
- My favorite food

I've eaten a variety of holistic kibble, but mostly I like what's mixed in- canned dog food, a little bit of chicken, meat/fruit/veggie baby food, cream cheese and plain yogurt. I would eat all kinds of junk if my mom let me, but she won't darnit.
- My favorite toy

I love small stuffed animals.
- My favorite walk

Any walk that isn't near a busy street or big crowd is fine with me. ;)

I lay like a scarf across my dad's neck when my mom says "scarf him".
