  Re: Farewell to a Princess Reply Contact I'm a bit belated, but I'm very sorry to hear of your loss of Jasmine.  Even when we know the "right" thing is to stop their pain and suffering, the pain and suffering WE feel is unbearable.  One of my favorite plants in our backyard is our climbing jasmine, which is blooming and has a beautiful fragrance.  I enjoy it every day when I stand by it to unroll the hose to water my other flowers.  I'll be extra mindful of the wonderful aroma in the coming days and think of your Jasmine, who is now enjoying a beautiful garden herself, free of pain. Run free Jasmine -- you were clearly loved and will be dearly missed by your family. Tracy
