  Re: Mindless Chatter - Thurs Reply Contact fuzzy_dogs_mom: That's a bummer, Cathy.  We went with a local (in Davis) company and there weren't any problems at all.  Exactly 28 days after they came in with a bobcat to dig the hole, we filled it.   We went with a local company too and they had an excellent reputation. Things were moving along swimmingly until they just stopped working on it because it had water puddling in the deep end. They kept saying it had to dry up so they could finish. The tile guy would show up, look at the puddle and leave. After 3 or 4 times of that, I called the owner. He said they couldn't finish until it dried up. I asked when he expected that to be since it hadn't rained in weeks. He said it must be leaking from the ground. Well- okay, so do we wait for the water table to change?? They came out the next day with a pump, ran it overnight, and then plastered it the next day. Everything moved fine after that, but we might still just have a huge hole with a puddle in it if I hadn't thrown a fit ~ Cathy ~

And doesn't a month have four weeks? So 9X4 would be 36 weeks. Have people been lying to me all along? Are you really technically pregnant for TEN months?!   It is 40 weeks, but they start counting at the first day of your last period. So by the time you know you're already like 4-5 weeks along.

  Re: Mindless Chatter - Thurs Reply Contact This has been a crazy day!  Work was terribly hectic, but I'm not sure that I could expect anything less after taking a few days off earlier this week. When I got home this evening, I found Schatzi relaxing on the coffee table eating my new episode of Cosmo.  Apparently, she thinks that I already know the "101 Sex Tips That Men Wish Women Knew" so she decided to make a chew toy out of it.  She hasn't chewed anything in over a year, so I'm not sure what possessed her to do it today.  Oh well, I suppose that everybody is entitled to a bad day from time to time.
