    Family Picnic (mrstjohnson) *pic heavy*

We had our family picnic today.  The weather was perfect, the park was perfect, it was a great day.  The park we went to was a city park (not our city, but the city my cousins live in) has a massive swimming section with 6 pools, a baby pool (9 inches deep), a kiddie pool (about a foot deep), a massive pool about 5 ft. deep, a lap pool, a super deep pool for the high diving boards, and another pool area for two giant water park like slides.

Riley had the best time on the swings and then in the pools.  I had a great time going down the giant slides with my sisters.  We felt like we were 10 years old again.  Giggling and laughing as we went down.  What a great day!!

Here are some pics from today...

Riley on the swings.  One of these days she is going to catch a fly in her mouth Big Smile

This is in the baby pool...

This is in the kiddie pool, she was so intrigued by the waterfall but was still a little nervous to get too close

This is Riley with my grandma discussing the important things in life over cold fried chicken and pasta salad...

    Thanks!

How fun!  I love Riley's big smile in the swing!

Thanks everyone.  Yep, that's Riley's great grandma.  For those of you that may remember, she is the one that had/has breast cancer and had the lumpectomy within this last year.  She was so afraid that she wouldn't make it to see us move home.  I think she had the best time of all of us with Riley at the pool.  Again, thanks for the compliments.

Awww, how wonderful. I'm sure she'll cherish those pics of her with her great-grandmother when she gets bigger. Smile
