    Ped Egg

I got a Ped Egg today.  I have been pretty embarassed about my feet since I started  wearing sandals months ago.  This thing is amazing!  If you have been thinking about getting one or thinking you need to do something with your feet, give it a try!  I have a tendency to get pretty rough heels and they are significantly smoother now.  Just thought I would throw that out there!

I bought one a few months ago.  To be honest, I didn't think it was working at first because I wasn't seeing any "shavings" inside.  A couple of days later, tho, I realized my heels were definitely smoother.

I bought one too and I love it.  I bought mine at Walgreens where they have a section called "as seen on TV." You can buy all those crazy things you see on infomercials without having to pay shipping and if you don't like it, you can just  bring it back. Smile

OK you all convinced me!  I have been staring at that thing forever.  My heels get so dry and cracked and I have horrible calluses on the balls of my feet due to a surgery I had when I was younger.  I am getting one at lunch!!

I have one... somewhere. I did notice it working, I haven't used it in a while, and my right foot still feels pretty smooth. My left foot though isn't soft anymore, though I am wondering if it's because I didn't use it as much on that one. I think I need to find it again.

That and the fact that after they showed what it can do with feet - BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE - let's see how great it can make zest from oranges and lemons!

Sorry but I nearly Ick! at the thought of someone using that on their feet and then using to prepare FOOD.

Whew, glad I'm not the only one!  SO nasty Ick!

I can't even use nail files because the noise and texture make my teeth itch.  Can't imagine using one of these on my oh so ticklish feet!!  Luckily, even with all the sandals I wear, I don't really get cracks and calusus.  If I do, I slather lotion on them and sleep in socks for a few nights.

Yeah the commercial did not make me want to try it. It did make me physically ill. I am glad folks have success with it...but I really can't even talk about the thing without wincing and feeling queasy.

Funny that you say that - that infomercial made me cringe, too.  I couldn't help thinking it must hurt.  Anyway, I got blessed with great feet, so I don't need one, but I'm sure there will be some medieval torture device invented for one of my little "faults" too LOL.

Really guys, Big Smile they don't hurt or even tickle.  They're very, very soft and gentle ... not at all like using a cheese grater on your feet.

    Re: Ped Egg

You guys are so funny.  Luckily for me I guess, I didn't see the infomercial or I may have been just as disgusted.  My mom actually was looking at them last week and I looked at it too but we got rushed.  Then yesterday we went to a beauty supply store and I was looking for it.  I couldn't find it though.  When we were leaving my SD said, that Ped Egg thing works really well, I tried one.  Well, that had me convinced especially since she didn't know that is what I was looking for so I got it.

And with the mamoth barefoot porch feet that I have, I thought there would be more stuff to throw away and there really wasn't.  And I have issues with things that grate on your feet but the picture shows it on a balloon and it is true, it really didn't hurt at all.

    Re: Ped Egg

Hey guys, you know what else works well?

    The dog dremel.

Seriously - before ever using it on Rascal's nails I tried it on one of my nails, first. No big deal. So then I tried it on one of my heavy duty nasty heel callouses, and, cool! Smoother! Didn't hurt, tickle, or burn (just don't leave it in one place). Kinda cool, and very easy :)
