Wondering if anyone has used or knows anything about "Know Better Pet Food". I ordered a sample pack of additive for a raw diet. It consists many of egg yolk, liver, gelatin, vitamins and minerals (potassium & calcium) and psylium husks. Is this a needed additive or can I make something similiar at home?
Also, while I am trying to do a raw diet, fresh meat is impossible to find, most meat sold locally is previously frozen (at least once), so I also do some homecooked. Sweetie is beginning to turn her nose up at the veggies and rice/potatos that she used to eat. It seems that raw is all she wants. I trick her into some additions. I frisbee brown rice cakes to make them a treat. I'm trying to find something we can both feel good about and that I can afford.
