    Naming my salon

It was decided, today, that my salon needs a new name. It has a bad name, in town, so... I'm changing it. We're different people, running it differently, and we need a name!

I have it down to two names, so you guys get to help me out, LOL.

The first one... we both LOOOOVE dog feets. It's one of our favorite parts of grooming... we make pretty feets. So... Pretty Paws Pet Parlor is one idea for a name.

Second.... with a photo of a Poodle in a nice lamb clip, and an orange tabby cat or a red Pom in a lion clip.... Lions and Lambs Salon.

I've made up flyers with both, and  coupons with both. We're working on getting ourselves out there. What do ya'll think?

I was kind of leaning that way, too. Lions and Lambs just isn't cute enough without the photo. I can't take somebody else's photo, so we'd have to find the dog and cat, groom them, and photograph them just to make a flyer, LOL. I also hate to do anything that might be construed as religious in a business name..... The more I think about it, the more I like Pretty Paws, too.

For some reason this name  makes me think pink. Are you going that route?

    Re: Naming my salon

We are very pink-loving, cutesy type of groomers, LOL. Ena wears a different outfit every day, and Emma has a thousand collars. Dori's dogs are treated similarly. We like bows and painted nails and bandanas and all that good stuff, so yeah... that's the route it'll naturally go. Of course, we ask about things like nail polish. Bows and bandanas are super easy to remove.

    Paint his nails! DO IT!

I'm going to work to paint my friend's male Pit Bull's nails. I've got some patriotic tattoos that I'm going to stick on his behind, and he's got a bandana to wear, tooWink I'll keep an eye out for some cute Pirate bandanas or bows.

Pft, I am lucky I can *clip* his nails, let alone paint them. Let me know if you find good Pirate stuff!

    I love Pretty Paws.

Thr place my dogs go too is The Groom Room. I know, not an interesting name but its awesome. They have three cats just running around loose in their and the cats all love dogs. They sell collars, leashes, bandannas, and dog treats also. They keep the dogs in plastic crates when not groomign them and they allow you to come and look at your dog and see if its the way you want it and then theyll change it if not. And you dont have to pay anything extra. You can let the dogs run off leash after theyre done and they can all play wiht each pther when youre paying.

I have never painted my dogs nails but am definetly thinking about it for Cuds, Pos, and Bail on July 4th. They will all have bandannas though.
