Sometimes, I want to strangle him (when he gets into the garbage) and sometimes I'm just amazed.
Last Sunday, Baily had 2 very unique opportunties to "run away". He could have taken off like the wind and had a grand old time, but he choose to stay put. I say "choose" because I (or anyone else) was no where near him.
I'll give the very short explanation...
First, we spent 25 minutes in Lowes with Baily in the minivan. Came out to discover that we had somehow left the rear door wide open ! After the dual heart attacks...Baily was curled up in the front seat.
Later the same day, we were at a friend's home that we had not seen before. We went inside to tour the house. Baily was doing wild zoomies and we decided to leave him on the deck. I saw my friend shut the passage door to the garage. After 25 minutes, we came back upstairs and decided to let Baily in. Baily's there on the deck and I went to get his leash off the grill and realized the passage door was open...and so was the overhead garage door !
The boy had 2 chances at freedom..........and he stuck around
He got a lot of praise and treats twice that day.
Animals, it is their world too!
