Sorry I haven't had much chance to reply.   We will see how well she handles this.  She really doesn't like nail trims and she has never been to a groomer (she is very much a bath, occaisional brushing, nail trim and thats it kind of dog.   so this could be a very interesting.  I do most of this at home.  (Except since becoming pregnant she gets her nails done at petco.  But this time for this she is going to my poodles groomer)

I'm just going to be the bad guy here... everyone seems on board for this. I'm sorry and I don't mean to offend any of you lovely people. But I feel there is just something inherently wrong about dressing up dogs. Obviously there is no real harm done to the dog but there is just something in me that crawls the wrong way whenever I see a dog in a dress or a sweater, etc. I include nails in this. Hey. Look. Alright, maybe it has something to do with my older sisters putting me in dresses when I was a little kid. Alright. I'll admit. I've tried on a dress or two in my teenage years. Okay, stop twisting my arm. Yes, in my twenty's I MAY have put on a dress and worn a bit of makeup. I MAY have told people my name was Charline and done a few photos. Which were VERY sexy yet tasteful. But this has no bearing on that.

People, don't dress up your dogs. They'll only grow up confused.

I would just make sure it's products for dogs that they use.  And, if it were Willow I would just make sure to remind them that if she seems to not be enjoying it for them to just stop.

I hope that she has a good time at the groomer's. It's nice that the groomer already knows your family, so she'll know how you like to have things done. That always helps.

I'm sorry and I don't mean to offend you RebelDogg....but your post made me laugh out loud.  I'm pretty sure her dog won't grow up confused.  I think you might be a little bit envious.  Big Smile

OP, let your DH have his fun.  Its Halloween....don't worry about it.

Oh, and RebelDogg....Live and let live Bud; as I'm sure you have likely said in the past...perhaps during a certain photo shoot.  Wink
