    rw-an NFL lament

It's always hard to be a Browns fan...but even harder this week. We made the front page of Yahoo! for being so bad. LMBO....because that's all you can do, laff. We'll persevere...we always do, but man oh man...it burns.

Anyone else feel free to lament or cheer anything football related right here...it's all good. I am waiting impatiently for the NHL season at this point LMBO.

Gina, I so feel your pain fellow Browns fan.  We usually go to a bar to wathc the Brownies play but yesterday we just sat @ home & listened to the game on satellite.  I shut off the sound in my room by the 4th quarter.  I'm hoping for a perfect season for them.  At least if they're gonna stink, let them stink perfectly.

I bet you guys are missin' Urlacher, and I don't blame you!

Die hard PATRIOTS fan here! My Dad has 2 season tickets so I get to go to a lot of games. I'm really into football , basketball, and hockey. I HATE baseball. I know, how could I? I'm from Boston! IDK, I guess I just get sick of the band wagon fans and the Sox have SO MANY.

Everyone here (TV & radio) is moaning and complaining about Brady because he isn't 100%- yet. I think we need to run the ball more, stop trying to shot gun it (until Brady's 100%). Joey Gallaway needs to go away. He can't catch a pass coming right at his head.

He's  Bear not a Brown lol...but I do miss him...he is one HOT dude!

Brady is kinda running around like a girl BUT they all do...an injury is always somewhat mental. He'll be fine as long as he stays away from Dwight Freeny!

That's what I think too. The TV and especially radio are really tearing into him and Belichick.

Dh is playing Fantasy Football this year for the first time.  It's great because he doesn't get as upset when the Boys don't do well.  Too bad he got Tony Romo for his quarterback. lol  I think he's going to regret that one.

My DH is in a Fantasy Football league, too! He loves it and has played for a few years now. He has Eli Manning as his QB.

I'm a life-long Patriots fan -- we don't get the media coverage out here like you get, Stephanie, but I've heard similar reports on ESPN about Brady.  One of my bosses plays FF, and a few weeks ago, he said to me, "I got your Tom Brady as QB, so he better not let me down!"  "My" Tom Brady?  Don't I wish!  Big Smile  I told him I had my own doubts so soon after his injury/surgery.  I missed last weekend's game because I wasn't home, but after I heard how horribly they played, I was glad I didn't see it.  Yesterday's game wasn't televised out here, so I couldn't watch.

DH has been a Green Bay fan most of his life, but he said last night that he wants to also cheer for Favre and the Vikings this season, especially after that amazing ending yesterday!  Next week's game should be great!

Also, I don't follow Detroit at all, but I'm happy for the fans and the city that the losing streak is finally over.  I can't imagine how relieved they all are!

Well - for the first time in 2 years the Lion's actually won.  There is a first time for everything.  Seriously, the last time I saw the Lion's win a regular season game in person (we have season tickets) was 2007 - Riley didn't have any teeth yet!!!  I have a T-shirt that says Champions of the preseason since these were the only games they were able to win over the past two years.

I feel your pain Gina, we have been the laughing stock of the NFL for years.  We are so bad they don't even let us play prime time games and they are probably going to take away Thanksgiving here soon.  It was nice not to be lambasted across the media for once...however, we are playing the bears this week so I am sure we will be back at the bottom.

My DH, who is from NY, is a die hard NY Giants fan. It was war here when the Pats lost to them in the Superbowl, lol!

~sneaks in to say she's a Cowboys fan, always have been, always will be~  Whew, last night was needed in a big way.  Interceptions, a sack and a win!  And they said it couldn't be done.  Wish I could have been there, tickets are expensive and I ain't party passin it.

Gotta say I'm so happy the Lions finally won a game.  Against the Skins no less.  GOOD JOB!
