HI, I live in LA (Lower Alabama, ha ha!!!)

    Hi,

I am new to this website and would like to make some friends,  Human and Furry!!!  I do live in Alabama,  I have 3 Yorkies and 1 Chinese Crested (Stormy, Max and Tia (yorkies),  last but not least is Lacey (HL Crested).  I have owned Yorkies for awhile but when I was contacted about Lacey, I just could not resist.  She was in an animal shelter and in danger of being put to sleep.  She was not in good condition at all,  her skin was very bad,  she looked like she has the mange.  My vet said she is about 1 1/2 years old and already had puppies.  She was found roaming the streets.  I am very happy that I adopted her,  she is so loving and is great with the Yorkies.

MY dream is to someday to have a Powder Puff Crested.

Enough about my dogs,  I could talk for ever about them.  I am 56, I love camping and motorcycling riding.

I hope to make a million new friends!!!

    Linda

Yorkies and Crested are like potato chips,  You can't have just one!!!!

    Hi Deb,

Jamison is a doll too!!!   A puppy that looks like him found my husband one very rainy day.  We have debated if he is a beagle or bassett hound or maybe both.  He is so funny!!!  I would have included him but I promised my husband that I would not take his dog over.  His name is Mr Wiggles,  (he wiggles when he walks).  My husband was in our motorcycle building on a rainy Sunday afternoon waxing the chrome and the puppy just walked in.  My husband was sitting on the floor and the puppy came up to him, laid down and propped his head on his leg.  We tried to find his owner,  I called all the vet clinics,  animal shelters and ran an add.  We had him for 3 weeks and someone claimed him that lives behind us.  This young man would go off and leave him all day long and into the night in a hot trailor with no air conditioning.  We could hear him howling.  He would look out the window and see us,  then howl again.  So we offered to pay him for the dog,  a week later he took $65.00 for him.  We have a fenced yard and a doggie door and he is very happy with the run of the house and yard.

It was so funny,  the young man tried to call him to the fence where he was standing one day and Mr Wiggles took off in the house and barked!!!

I am wordy I apologize,  like I said,  I can talk about my dogs all day,  uho!!!  and my husbands dog!

    Welcome to the forum!

Deb W. calls her husband Mr. Wiggles, I hope she doesn't get confused. LOL and just kidding, I think.  Mr. Wiggles, the dog, sounds like he made a great decision.  Your two pictured are adorable.

I hope you enjoy the forum, you sound like our kind of person: DOG CRAZY!

On the rare ocassions that Jamison stays at day care (like if we have plumber coming in or something) I always tell Mr. W to wiggle his butt and act like he's happy to see me when I come home.

    Sometimes he complies.

    Hi Linda,

I do not post often anymore but I too am from LA.  The Gulf Shores area to be more specific.  I have a much larger breed but like cresteds very much. One of our closest RR friends has an elderly crested named Punkin Sue who rules the kennel with an iron paw. She is a Hairless and such a delight, I am sure there are snaps of her somewhere on my profile We do a little camping but for the most part use our RV for dog showing.

Hope you make a ton of new cyber friends and if you are in the GS area let me know be happy to show you around the back sceanes of the local dog shows etc...
