I am looking at her wound and it's smaller everyday...mainly due to her FINALLY deciding to dry up! YAY! Thanks everyone for the good thoughts...we are going in again Sat. for the vet to see and will likely schedule her sew up, at that time. WHEW! When I was in high school I had to do similar wound care for my mother after a post-surgical infection... it was just awful. Changing the wound dressings was just such a terrible experience. I'm glad Ellie's doing a little bit better. I hope she and the pups are coping well!

She's all sewn up..bigger incision than I hoped but he said he needed clean margins and to remove scar tissue so...
