Now, I understand that there is more than one type of "allergic" reaction, and the test just tested IGg or whatever the stuff is. Anyhow, fed her chicken, she's chewing her butt off in the corner.    *sigh* It'd gone SO well,  til this.

I've had people tell me that duck is different but I can't see the point in trying - he gets hives and has breathing issues so it is high risk - I was just wondering if you had tried

Why make her miserable and risk another round of steroids? Prednisone makes her almost impossible to live with. There's so much, aside from poultry, that she CAN eat. She's doing great with fish and beef, and we're trying pork, next.

  Re: Yeah, so chicken isn't great Reply Contact  For a while Ben wouldl react to eggs but not any other poultry. Then he started reacting to chicken. Then after a long while, he started reacting to duck. Eventually he also reacted to turkey. Eggs would send him immediately to emergency care, do not pass "Go," etc. Every subsequent thing made him react a little less, but then I would "catch" it quicker. Except turkey was a big head smack moment. But he never reacted really strongly to turkey. It was kind of weird.
