SERIOUS nail cutting issues!

    That's very good!  I understand what you meant now and why she got upset.  Never fails that something will happen unexpectedly and cause them to freak a little. LOL

     lemon, I have a 5yr old Boston named Pearl and until about 6 mos ago I used regular nail clippers and didnt like them because they shattered the nails sometimes. Anyway I went to a Dremel and file them that way now. I had to go real SLOW getting her used to that. I would just have the Dremel out on the porch and just turn it on and lay it down and let her be around it for a few days be fore I even picked it up around her. Then I would pick it up with it turned off and hold it with her in my lap. Finally I would turn it on and just sit there with it on a few times depending on how she reacted. When I finally tried it on her she squirmed just a little the first time or two and now she actually seems to enjoy it. She just lays there and snorts and snores as I file. Remember go very SLOW.
