    Awwww... she is so cute!!

Cats that age are simply adorable. I hope everything goes well with the vet, you will see generally little cats love the attention at the vet's office. In our case, we have to take Luke (the black cat) sedated. He totally *hates* the vet, any vet... poor thing. Once the vet even came to our house and he figure it out in a second, so it had to be sedated anyway. The other cat loves the vet, go figure!

    Re: My first foster kitten

Well, we are back and it's a BOY!  We named him Tempo and vet said he's doing well.

He did really well traveling in the carrier and also for the exam.

He was wormed again, the Dr didn't feel that the rescue had given me enough.  I described his pooping to the vet and he said it's normal.  But, we are feeding a little too much.  So, now he's given me the amounts and a schedule and it should help.

He had the distemper vaccine today.  And, we are going back in three weeks for something else and he said at six months he'll be ready for his first rabies and around then he can be neutered.

He's wiped out now and sleeping near DH while he works on the computer.

Do kittens tend to have side effects from the shots.  I know Willow had gotten a bit of diarrhea and was feeling a little off for a couple of days after hers.  But, she was older.

    Thanks for all your help.

He's a LOVE, I don't know how we are going to part with him.

That's why I think I wouldn't be able to foster... but I admire people that do it!

How's Willow doing with Tempo now? Is she more used to having him around or she's still a bit scared?

Thank you for asking about Willow!  She's still about the same.  DH and I aren't taking any chances with her though.  She's so unpredictable that we always have a baby gate between them.  The first night every time he meow'd, she woke me up.  I think she was trying to say, "Mama, wake up, wake up, there is a CAT in here!", LOL!!

We let our big cats from outside in to visit Tempo last night and they all get along fine.

He's starting to perk up a bit now from his shots.  He slept a long time after we got home.

Only one of my cats does it, and I have 6. I think it's gross! She's a good cat - just a little... weird. =]

LOL, DH doesn't like licking either.  I do, just not on the face or mouth.

I only just saw this - the kitten is adorable!  My cat used to lick when she was a kitten, but outgrew it.  She'd "hold" you down with her paw and lick your hands, especially your palms or fingers... and she'd nibble your nails too, if you let her!  I love kittens Smile

Licking is really cute... it happens often in our house, when any of the cats are extra cuddly and snugly they will lick and purrr... and oh the world is so good!

Something not so cute: feel a cat licking your scalp/hair at midnight Tongue Tied
