Anyone use an in-ground poo disposal?

Does anyone use or have experience with an in-ground poo disposal system?  I don't have a real issue with keeping up with my boys, but I would like to hear about this product.  I might want to get one.  Also, I have several family members who have large dogs.  We have been discussing this.

    Any thoughts?

I don't know anyone that has kept it up.  I think its quite the hassle sprinkling the stuff however often you need to...but I don't know for sure.  Everyone I've asked has said, "Oh we used to have one..."  But then has no real opinion.  Maybe they feel lazy so they don't comment on how much work it is...I don't know, thats the only thing I can come up with.

I'd be interested to hear if anyone here uses one.  er...successfully.

I looked into them years ago.  They don't work in the winter months.  My grandparents had one way back in the '70s, but I don't remember them using it for long (they had the original Doggie Dooley).

Oops- should have said they don't work in the winter months in areas with snow, etc (in other words, areas that have real winters.  LOL)

Doesn't work in winter in warm climates either :-( We put one in and at first i thought this is good - nah waste of time and money. Ours sunk further down and is now completely covered up I'd have to search for it. the upkeep is a PIA, sprinkling the stuff isn't too bad but you need to add water (ours was too far from the house to use the hose so I had to carry water out) and STIR! PEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
