I really wish I could be around this forum more but Grad School has the better of me for now. These pics should give a good idea of what life has been like on Gizmo's side.
This past week I went out into the field in southern Colorado to do some data collecting for part of my research and help out the Geomorphology class. With the Geology group we camped 4 nights in the cold Colorado mountains. Of course, we could not leave without our little assistants, the dogs.
Gizmo and Marly waiting as we pack the truck
After setting up the campsite we went for a hike to study glaciers. Here we are at our first stop and outdoor classroom.
the view was wonderful!
We even saw some ram along the way back to camp
The next morning we woke up to almost a foot of snow!
The dogs had fun tearing apart a glove they stole from me.
The dogs even helped us do some field work
That night Gizmo was very comfortably in the tent.
It was such a pretty place to be.
Gizmo helped me attempt to build a snowman but most the snow was already melted
