Pork shoulder roast
1 medium onion, chopped
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. Tabasco sauce
1 cup Kraft barbecue sauce
1 tbsp. sugar
dash paprika
1/8 tsp each salt, pepper, garlic powder
½ cup cider vinegar
Make a marinade from the cider vinegar, chopped onion,
Worcestershire sauce, barbecue sauce and Tabasco and marinate the roast in
refrigerator for at 6 to 10 hours. Turn occasionally to keep roast coated with
marinade.
Put the roast on a rack in the slow cooker, and pour the
marinade in, too. Rub the roast with
the salt, pepper, paprika, sugar and garlic mixture.
Cook on low for 7- 8 hours.
Serve with beans and Cole slaw.
Easy Mushroom Chicken
6-8 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
½ cup chicken broth
1 can cream of mushroom soup
8 ounces sour cream
8 ounce container baby Bella mushrooms, sliced
Spice mix: salt, pepper, garlic powder & paprika
Lay the breasts in the crock pot. Rub spice mix on chicken
In a bowl, mix the other ingredients, then pour over the
chicken.
Cook 7 hours on low.
