    Solid Gold

I just found out I can get this here, from the same place I order Ben's Orijen from.  I know Orijen is great and he does well on it but I'd love to occasionally throw in a different protein source.  He's on 6 Fresh Fish now, but was wondering what people had to say about Solid Gold, the WolfKing and MMillenia varieties especially.  I know they're not grain free, I am OK with that, and I know barley can be a risk but Ben has zero allergy issues.

    Re: Solid Gold

I used to feed Solid Gold Turkey & Whitefish.    I called and asked them for the complete nutritional analysis and they couldn't provide it, so I stopped using it.   I figure if they can't provide that information then I don't want anything to do with them - but that's just me - I'm weird that way :)

Mine did great on Mmillenia.  They changed the formula slightly since then and I didn't like the new formula - I think it was something about the grains they use now - I was using it mainly for that particular makeup of carbs it offered.

Bugsy eats Barking at the Moon and does well on it.  We have also used Mmillenia mixed with Barking to keep the protein levels up.  We tried Wolfking but that didn't agree with Bugs - no idea why it should not have been an allergy issue

We use Mmillenia here fairly regularly and the girls seem to do well on it.  It's actually one of the less expensive quality foods around here, so that's nice, and I've never had any issue with bad stools, etc.

Dakota did really well on it. Neiko didn't though. I'm thinking of trying it again at some point but who knows.

    Re: Solid Gold

My three eat Wolf King, and they do great on it. They'd eat anything, honestly, so it's nothing to switch their foods. The actual diet, however, really works for them.

Can I have my 4000-something posts back? Pretty please?
