     I'm so sorry Julie; greed really brings out the worst in people. I really admire your attitude and hope when the dust settles on this, her wishes will be honored and the original will won't be changed.{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}

    They done really peed me off talking bad about Rich

    That would do it for me too. I hope that will stands up in court and they don't get a dime. I can't imagine why it wouldn't and I can't understand why anyone would want to challenge someone's wishes after they'd passed on. It seems so disrespectful, but from what you've described, it isn't that surprising. Hang in there Julie. You've been a rock up until now and this will all be over soon.

    Julie, the thought occurs to me that there was a reason why your MIL made her will the way she did.  It takes a wise parent or grandparent to know their own kin.  Apparently, she thought that you deserved what she was leaving you.  And, I don't think very highly of anyone who badmouths their parent, especially their deceased parent, except in cases where the parent committed a crime, and even then, best to keep quiet and go about the business of being a responsible and decorous adult.  Good luck to you, and I hope they don't get a dime by behaving in such a despicable way.

    Condolences on the loss of your MIL.  I know she's at peace with her loving son now.
