I'm glad I searched for this topic before starting a new thread on it. I had asked on another Board but no one has come back with their personal experiences, so I'm happy to read them here!
I looked at the videos on the Peticure website, thinking that I could just purchase the guard to fit my rotary tool. Unfortunately, I have a Craftsman and there is nothing to screw off in order to screw ON the Peticure guard as the video shows.
I would be VERY interested to know if there is "a way around this." Steve?
Maybe I can just use Duct Tape? 
But my Craftsman tool looks much smaller than a Dremel, perhaps a mini size.
It has a recharger, not batteries, and I usually use the high speed to get enough grinding action for my Weims tough nails.
My Rudi is so good that today I managed to clip his nails while he was laying down, thumping his tail in glee, and my husband was stroking his chest. It was easy, but I really need to take off more than this clipping technique allows. I usually follow up the clipping with grinding. That's why I'm interested in the guard. I'm tired of constantly blowing on their nails to keep the dust from flying in my face!
Now my Sophie is a different story. It takes two of us to clip her nails. The Peticure video shows a technique for "difficult dogs", where the person literally pins the dog to the mat and Peticure's-away at the nail. Looked simple, so I tried that approach on Sophie today. I think I need to polish my technique. She slipped back under my legs and escaped. Methinks the Peticure really needs to show a "difficult dog" on that video! So I'm going to volunteer Sophie. 
Nothing happens.....but first a dream.
