    Blue Buffalo Canned

I've thought about occasionally giving my crew some of the Blue Buffalo canned for their meals.  Not all the time, b/c I'd go broke, but just for something different every now and then.  But I don't know how much to give them.

I looked on the cans and cannot find the feeding guidelines.  It may have said on the can how many kcals per cup, but I don't remember.

What would you guys recommend?  Our dogs range from 18# up to 87#

    TIA

According to the bluebuff website, venison has 411 kcals per can and you should feed approximately 1/2 can per 10 pounds of weight.  That seems a bit high to me.  Based on that, Thor would get 4.5 cans per day???  Oppps, just did the math, and yes, it's about right.

Thanks Glenda!  Well, it seems like just using it for a meal here and there, when I have extra cash would be ok.

Our Petsmart at least only carries lamb and chicken.  Tractor supply tho has ALL the flavors, including salmon, sweet tater and asparagus!  Sounds good enough for ME to have for dinner!

LOL, here it's the opposite.  Our Petsmart has all the flavors (including the salmon, and you're right it does sound yummy!) but I couldn't find any at our Tractor supply.  I bought beef for the first trial, but I think eventually we'll try them all.
