I'm glad Bugsy's out of surgery! Yeah!

Now, if they would just get Jezzy's dental done. I left her at 8, and when I called at 11:30, they still hadn't gotten to her. Poor baby. She crawled out of the tech's arms this morning when I handed her over. Had to do it all over again, and then she was struggling to get loose. Definitely not easy to walk off when they do that.Crying

It's great to hear Bugsy's surgery went well! I hope his recovery goes the same way!

I am irritated today. That is all.

    Re: Mindless Thursday

Karen, glad he's out of surgery!!

Cathy, I saw where you sent a thank you card to your dog sitter.  I would have written "thanks so much for watching the dogs.  Thanks also for the three piles of poop. Let me know if I can ever return the favor!"  A smear of brown on the check would have been a nice touch too.  I know she's a family friend but with friends like this..........

I meant to ask for idog vibes for DH's testing today.  He has to pass some geeky computer certification thing.  I've been helping him study for the last two weeks.  I don't know how my brain didn't explode.  Good grief that techno geek talk is absolutely mind bending to the layman.  He called and said he passed the first test with flying colors!!  He should be through with the second one soon.  He has to have this certification for his job and they will pay the test fees of $350 IF he passes.

Ive been cleaning the office all morning and my hands look like I've been mucking out barns for a week.  Geez this place was filthy.  I'm calling a cleaning service because I just can't keep up with this and do my real job.

LOL - I love your sense of humor. It's kind of a complicated family friend thing and probably best if we just leave it alone. Almost any approach we took would make us look like the mean/bad guys. We definitely won't be asking her to help again. Quite frankly, I am really going to push for boarding them next time. There's a really great place here that has a beautiful lot of land and state of the art facilities. The owner is also a trainer and from what I've heard, the dogs enjoy being there. I'd prefer someone that is more dog-savvy to watch them in the future. I'll have to sell DH on the idea though. He worries about the idea of boarding them a lot. Maybe I could arrange for him to spend a night there and see what it's like Wink

Good vibes for your husband and his testing today. I hope you have a reason to celebrate and pull out the feathers tonight Big Smile

LOL, I thinks that's a great idea!  I talk tough but I probably wouldn't have written that on the thank you note either.

Thanks for the good vibes for my DH.  He passed the second test too and is so happy.  He said he was especially glad he passed because he told everyone at work he was taking the tests today and didn't want to come back and say he flunked.  Priorities are different for men. lol

    Congrats to Jackie's DH!!

Jackie, can you use the feathers during the week & still have the energy to come to work the next day?

Yay for him. I think I worry and rejoice more for stuff that relates to DH than I do myself sometimes.

DH said that the vet check-up went fine and the dr. couldn't find anything wrong. I wondered if that might happen because Sassy wasn't leaking this morning. She did take a urine sample and is sending it out for testing, so we'll see if something shows up there. She mentioned that it might be an age thing but I just don't buy that it popped up overnight like that nor that it would be as bad as it was. DH left for a bike ride, so I can't chat with him. Anyone know how long it takes to get the results back on a urine culture?

Now that's the big question and I've been wondering if I can go home and take a power nap this afternoon.  I'm sure the men I work with will understand.  lol  Now this how my mind works.  That made me think of those ED medication commercials where they always say "ask your doctor if you're healthy enough for sexual activity".  I always think, if the doc is a man he will say "of course you are and if you keel over during, isn't it worth it?"

    Re: Mindless Thursday

I just called and she's only now waking up. They told me I could come ahead and get her if I want. I WANT! LOL They just gas her down since sedatives have a nasty side effect with her. No teethies pulled, just cleaned. Big sigh of relief! Now my day can go a lot better. :) Thanks for asking.
