    "I got your back Dad"

Molly and her PAwPaw had a male/dog bonding day Saturday while he went out and looked for some masonry jobsites.

I had registered DH's car but he forgot to put the stickers on the license plate (I didn't feel like constantly reminding him).

As they were going about their merry way Paul saw the bluelights flashing behind him and pulled over.

Now Molly has never been in this situation so having a tall man wearing a large hat and sunglasses come up to the car was more than she could bear. She turned to her favorite character - Kujo - so Paul had to get out of the car. Officer wanted Paul to remain in the car but Paul yelled to him he couldn't hear a word the officer was saying so officer relented and Paul got out.

Before Paul got out he did mention to the officer, pointing to Molly, don't worry officer I don't have a gun -- don't need one. Could be why the officer relented cause he agreed.

So Paul got out of the car and went to the back with Mr. Officer - and he forgot to put the window back up. It was not quite 1/2 way down. Out of the corner of his eye he saw Molly being reborn via the window. By the time he noticed her it was too late to open the door and put the window all the way down. Her head was out and she was squeezing her lanky self through the opening.

Paul was a tad bit worried about what might occur once Molly freed herself (and she has never ever crawled out the window).

But once her paws hit the pavement she simply walked over to her PawPaw and sat down!!! She didn't bark at the officer at all - she was simply backup!!!

Molly:  It's not a good thing to mess with police officers, but if you ever need one, I have a get out of jail for free card for you.

Whoa, Molly, be careful, sweetie.  I know you were just trying to help your man but, wow, that guy in the uniform has a gun & he could have thought differently of your intentions & hurt you.

I got pulled over a month ago, for a taillight being out and Tootsie was also in the car. This was a new situation for her and was a little apprehensive about the situation, but she did nothing. Sat there and didn't even act interested. Good job, Molly!
