Did you get a Flyer made up?  I could do one in Photoshop if you haven't.

    Update -

I faxed out to the local DOT, they've not seen him. Which is good, in a way.

I emailed to the Fish and Game folks and a very nice man is fowarding it on to his office and another.

I talked to the Rest Area guy and while there is no fax or email there he said he'll write it down and post it ... hoping that will happen.

Jackie, I appreciate the offer, I'm going home sick this afternoon and if I can get anymore pertinant fax numbers in that area I will get them to you, thanks SOOO much. I hope this is not the swine flu, ugh, feel like I'm gonna pass out.

editted to add ...OH god ... I just got a call from the humane society giving me a woman's number to call with a husky. It was a female :( .... I burst into tears on the phone with a complete stranger. she's a local so I'm forwarding her his flier to pass on :(

     Just checking in.

As usual I made everyone think I was crazy again.  Worrying all day long about someone else's dog.  Why don't people get it?

    No news ...

However, I did get a call from an amazing woman that runs the Albert Lea Humane Society ... she is going to go out tomorrow and plaster the area with fliers. Can you believe it? People can be so incredible... she said she had the time, so she'd help.  wow, that is just the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me. She's going to bring her female dog and canvas a radius. I'll let you allknow if anything comes of it.

I just truly hope he hasn't run far.... he's trained by an Iditarod musher, go knows how far he could be by now. Please send"stay close" vibes to Godzilla.

I feel like I've spoken with half the state of Minnesota ...

Called more vets and shelters today, put another ad in the paper with his picture, contacted the small town animal control guy who is in the middle of the RJD Memorial Hardwood Forest (this is directly South of where he was lost and I'm worried he's in the forest somewhere), Sent out an automated call on "findtoto.com" with a 10 mile radius from Lewiston, MN which covers part of the northern area he could be in (the calls are a shot in the dark, but if he's up there it may be a way to reach people on farms/out in the rural areas).

I'm not good at waiting, it's been three days ...

Continuing to think of this dog.  Sending "STAY CLOSE" and "Don't be afraid of Strangers calling your name" vibes to Godzilla.  I hope he goes to someone and is in good hands.  Eventually, someone will see these flyers and will connect him back to you and his family... fingers crossed.
