    mindless messed up Moanday

Oh I hate this time change.  I was awake before 5 yet again.  It's light earlier, way earlier, and my body thinks its time to get up.  Sigh.  By the time I get really used to the time change, it'll be time to spring forward again. So the kids won't be out in the dark in the morning waiting for their buses?  Yeah but they WILL be coming home in the dark.  We're in a funky time zone and it gets dark way too early to begin with......now it's going to be so much worse.  Please pass the cheese to go wth my whine!!

Busy day today.  Too much to do too little time, so off to do it.

No trick-or-treaters at my house.  I'm a scrooge.  When my son was little, I took him door-to-door.  It's fun when the kids are small, but after about age 12, they're too old to trick-or-treat.  I leave my light off now.

Got my fix of mint M&Ms on Saturday.  It's the only reason I like the Christmas season!

Hi Jackie!  Glad you woke up happy yesterday!

Amanda, nice to read Lola is coming out of her shell.

I guess I better get to the mountain of work that didn't get done last week before it grows again.

Glenda I was wide awake at 5:19.  Strangely at about that time Bugsy wandered down the hall and in to see if we were awake.  He sidled back down the hall but I couldn't get back to sleep.

I have lots of paperwork today, some errands, and a need for exercise but FIRST I must sort through the bank accounts and figure out the best option to pay the TPLO and the bills. sigh

You know I have to say it - Go Yankees!! I don't think they'll win it tonight though.

Poor DH leaves for England tomorrow and is a wreck.  It will be a miracle if he remembers everything.

Still wet and cold here.  Rest of the week is 'supposed' to be sunny and cool.  Fingers crossed.

    very mindless today

I have a ton of work to close out the month.  It's a beautiful day and I just want to be outside and enjoying this weather while it lasts.

Deb,  I think this Halloween will be one DH and I won't soon forget and the waffles were good too.  Wink

I love driving to work in the daylight but the sun was blinding this morning.  I felt like a bear coming out of hibernation.  I will miss the daylight at the end of the day because we have to walk as soon as we get home from work before it gets too dark.  DH doesn't like being rushed, so that's always a struggle.  I usually win because I have three dogs on my side. lol

    Karen, I'm sending you and your DH comfort vibes and prayers.  I'm sure this will be a very tough week for all of you.  {{{Hugs}}}

Well Tyler announced his "Relationship" on Facebook last night.  I didn't think it would bother me, but it kinda did.  Its not that I ever wanted to get back together with him, so I don't know why it bugs me.  Maybe cause he put up such a big fight about us breaking up, and he's moved on way way before I'm even ready to think about it.  Does that make me a bad person?

Now I have to go get ready for work.  And get the girls ready for daycare.  Happy Moanday everyone.

I hate the time change! Internet service at my office is still down. I hate having to look at spreadsheets on my phone. I think that I may have made a mistake bringing both Bev & Lola with me today. I'm hoping that he doesn't teach her any bad habits.

Candace, I think that what you're feeling is normal.  At least, for me, it is.

Here ya go, Deb.  I got one this morning on the way to work.  It's a cell phone pic, so it kinda sucks, but she didn't duck for cover at the sight of my phone!

Candace, I think what you feel is normal.  Some men seem to be able to move on so quickly.  My ex-h searched for and had a new g/f before I even moved out.   They bought wedding rings a month after our divorce and were married w/in 5 months of that.  My ex-h did have issues, one of which was the need to make sure he had a caretaker.  He didn't even tell me they were getting married - I found out when someone showed me the "marriage licenses issued" section in the local newspaper.

Amanda - Lola is very cute!  Has she realized how lucky she is yet?

    Go Yankees???

I have one fav team and one close second.  The fav of course is the Boston Red Sox, the close second is any freaking team that beats the damned Yankees.

    Go Phillies.

    That is all.

Amanda, Lola is adorable!  Have her pick me up some coffee and a croissant, please. lol

Candace, your feelings are normal.  I think some men go through life looking for someone to take care of them.  That's a far cry from a true adult relationship.

Lola is adorable!  What a sweet foster baby!

Candace, sounds like a perfectly normal reaction to me.  It does seem to me like some men have to have a woman to take care of them at all times...so they get out of one relationship and right into another one.  sigh.

I hope everyone's Halloween weekend was a good one and safe one.  I didn't read the weekend chat....was busy with a girl.  Big Smile

We had our usual 2 batches of trick or treaters.  The first one was delivered by hay ride; and there was about 12 or so kids...all bright eyed and screaming at my front door.  LOL  The second one was just a single family with three boys.  One of those boys was very stingy, little toot.  I was grabbing a handful of candy from bowl to put in his bag, and then he grabbed another handfull.  LOL.  Then, when I put a handful into his little brothers bag, he tried to dip into his bag.  Daddy promptly grabbed the kid and told him NO.  Oh my!  What fun they were having.  Indifferent

Yep, I agree. My ex got remarried the week after our divorce was final. It lasted about 2 years. He got married again shortly after that one and it didn't even last a year. He's on wife #4 now and I truly hope this one lasts for him.

We have 3 hours until we need to leave for the airport and we're actually as excited about going home as we were about getting here. We miss the dogs terribly and we also miss our wonderful bed. DH's back started hurting him yesterday and today it's worse. Hopefully the 5 1/2 hour plane ride won't be too painful for him.

We're bummed that we're going to miss the World Series game tonight but hoping that the Phillies can win this one.
