Karen, I am so very sorry for all the burdens life is heaping on you right now.  ((((HUGS))))

So, as long as Bevo KNOWS that caffeine is bad for him.  We all do some stuff that isn't so great for us.....

I am soooo glad that this day is over. Jen's surgery went ok.

Glenda, I'm so glad Jen's surgery went ok.  I thought they were going to delay the surgery.  Anyway, sending healing vibes for her.

    Re: Mindless Munday

With my whirlwind weekend, and crazy a$$ day at work today, I haven't been on very much in the last few days.

So, just want to send hugs and good vibes to anyone who needs them.

Oh, and thanks ya'll for the congratulatory messages on little bro's engagement.  I passed them along to future SIL.  Oh, and I forgot to mention...she asked me to be maid of honor at the wedding!!!!!!!  She has a TON of friends, so I am so touched.  They are the best!

I'm so done with this job.  If there was anything around I'd be applying.  Unfortunately, I'm stuck here.  I'm sick of getting bitched at by people who have no business speaking to me this way.  And, for stuff that I have nothing to do with.

And, people wonder why I prefer animals.  It really doesn't take a genius to see why.

    Re: Mindless Munday

We were slammed at work today... we had 10 feral cat spays and neuters, a blocked cat, an absess cat, and a boatload of appointments. This was all between 4-7:30. Ugh. I am pooped! Did I mention feral cats smell? Horribly? Ew.

I took home a new foster dog tonight. I'll have to get pictures tomorrow. She's sooo sweet!

    I'm ready for bed. And it's only 9:30.... =/

Erica, I would of loved to be busy like that and for those reasons.  Instead I'm stuck over here at bitch fest.

Yea... in spite of all my complaining, I do prefer the busy nights to the slow nights...but I would prefer the busy-ness to be spread out - we have a lobby FULL of people for a good hour! It was insane. We haven't been that slammed in a while... but I guess it's all good.

At least where I work, if we're really slow - I can go home.

Lori, if you need help with the bitches at work just let me know.  I have evil tendencies. Big Smile

Does anyone want a big, black & tan idiot?  He's limited to leash walks for the next 23 days. (yes, I am counting down)  He's been fairly easy to deal with until tonight.  We've had a zoomie attempt, & he decided that the baby gate that blocks off the staircase should not be there, so he ripped it down.  Then, for good measure, he dragged it into the living room to show me what he had done.  Like I hadn't heard the loud crash. Hmm

I'd take him.  Patrick tries to do his zoomies, or run down the hallway, but his shenanigans have been super mild compared to anything Bevo could come up with.  I feel the need for a challenge, because at least I understand the way the Dobe mind works.  My recent challenge, Henry the BC... um, his mind is not my fav.

Karen, I am so, so sorry about all this being heaped on at once.  You're each unable to "be there" for eachother, and that's got to double the pain of dealing with your loved ones' decline.  I don't think I'd want to take on a surgery on top of that, so I give you credit for trying to keep life on track as best you can.  ((((HUGS))))

Amanda, I'll trade you a miniature version for Bevo! My Jezebelle is driving me up the wall this evening with her behavior. I can't figure out what she wants and it's driving me nuts. I can't get anything done with her incessant demands. And on top of feeling guilty that she has to have a dental next week (almost a year to the day from the last one), I'm trying to find anything that she wants! She has me wrapped around that paw and has more pull at 7 lbs than my husband does! Ugh!

Whoever said Min Pins were like permanent two year olds is so spot on! Thankfully the other two have halfheartedly given up and gone and curled up under the blankets. Though I can't leave the room without having a 3 dog train! LOL Got to love em!
