Emma is allergic to dander, and saliva has a very high dander.... whatever. She's allergic to spit, so no. Beans, though? Absolutely. I share foods with her, on a regular basis, and take her out without Emma, just so I can.

Reply Contact I let my shepherds lick the spoon / fork / plate when I'm done with whatever I'm eating and there is some food left... I call it my pre wash... I just can't see throwing away food if the dogs would like to eat it...

Reply Contact Yep, in fact, I sometimes share my food with them and eat off the fork after them. Normally their mouth doesn't touch the fork, they just take the food. And, whenever I cook eggs for them in the morning I have to feed Layla off a fork or she won't eat it..... I don't share with her though! wink Sunshine Girl

Reply Contact I don't think that Bevo has ever eaten from anything but my hand or his food bowl.  It is very likely, if you were to offer him something from your bowl, or off your spoon, that he would give you his best "have you lost your mind" look.  I get that look often.... He is a licker, if given the chance, so he'd be thrilled to give you kisses! Amanda
