Candace mentioned that I haven't been on lately and is so true!
I have been busy, that's all I can say. I have five groups of different students coming to my home for Spanish classes once a week and a little job in town. I have spent hours creating material for the classes, flashcards, board games, posters... I have been a little sad with the internet in general too. For the last seven years I have worked online as a freelance with a publisher: my own schedule and as much or as little work as I wanted. But it has been kind of dead lately, so being in the computer is not as fun as it used to be. Anyway, we are well and life is good, thanks God for that
Next week I have the appointment for the MRI on my knee. I have been doing pretty well, walking normally with some tiny episodes of pain and swelling, which means that maybe I have a thorn ligament, a tear in the meniscus or both... that will mean surgery or something else in the future. In the mean time the "baby production" has stopped to be able to get through the radiation with no risks and to figure out what to expect from my knee + extra weight. Also next week
I'll be 30, thirty, treinta, trente, trenta, triginta, XXX...
Changing the subject, Thor is doing great. He got a new bed this week and is the happiest dog! He likes all my students and never gets tired of being called and follow all the commands in Spanish he knows. It just cracked me up the other night when one of my students said "arriba" laud and clear (finally mastered her RR's) and Thor stand up fast from his sleep and went to her LOL
Here is a picture of Thor with the Rockies in the back a couple weeks ago:

And Thor almost swimming in the summer, his tail sticking up is hilarious!

Hugs for everyone and special scritches to all the doggies from me.
